The movement of the water creates a sense of tension as the sculpture appears momentarilly anchored before being dragged and repositioned, echoing the fragile and uncertain state of the species, the push and pull suggesting its struggle to remain present. Until with the passing of time the water recedes leaving only an impression which nature quickly also erases implying a world which exists after the loss of the species and potentially mankind..

The geodes hard exterior reflects control while the fluffy duvet envelops it lovingly protecting it as it continually opens and closes revealing its beauty and potential. The iteration reflects the recurring tensions of parent child relationships. A collection of recorded interactions are layered over each other creating tension and stress and prompting the viewer to recognise their own behaviours to introduce humour to the piece.
