Rory Maguire Artist
Rory is a portrait artist typically using oil paint on canvas to blend expressionist and impressionist styles and capture fleeting gestures which portray character and personality.
He believes art speaks to our emotions and informs our behaviour in deep and profound ways and he loves to investigate these emotions within our human relationships, exploring the nuances of tension and humour within.
He believes that by getting in touch with our emotions through art, we can gain greater respect for others, and he is investigating ways to help and challenge Dads to create Art featuring their Daughters.
He combines his love of travelling and engaging with different cultures, by attending art exhibitions and residencies.
He is currently enrolled at the Art Academy London studying for a BA in Contemporary Portraiture.
